Happy Birthday to EverythingAboutCrochet.com

Well, I did it. Today is the birthday of EverythingAboutCrochet.com. The Blogger address for now is: WherePaulineCrochets.Blogspot.com. I will transfer my domain here when I get around to it. Later today or tomorrow? Soon, in any case. 

Interestingly enough, there is already an EverythingAboutCrochet.Blogspot.com, but whoever built the site hasn't done anything since 2018. So, either they are busy with other projects, or they have died, though I hope they have not.

I first registered EverythingAboutCrochet.com in December of 2009. If you want to get technical, that was a long time ago and might even be classified as a legacy site, though I never got much up on it. The intention was to have a little bit about everything crochet. What can I say? Life got in the way.

However, I did have a page where I'd done a short YouTube video about how I carve my own crochet hooks. I don't know how many I've made over the years. I do still have two of them, and I know I never sold any, so the others? They were given to people. 

Speaking of videos, I should march myself over to YouTube and create a channel to accompany this new website....and, that just took a minute: EverythingAboutCrochet on YouTube!

I should mention that I talk to dead people, if anybody would like to see what that's about I'll link a bunch of the places I am on the Internet below this article.

What I did today was to have my domain of https://www.EverythingAboutCrochet.com redirect over here to blogger. That way, this blog website will have a custom domain. It took me hours. I've got a stiff neck, and I want a drink. I haven't had a drink in close to 30 years, but I sure want one right now. I'll probably go mix up some Tang or have a cup of tea.  Even though I was on the cutting edge of using computers back in the day, they sure have me beat these days. I'm glad I can crochet. That, I'm good at. So, eventually, the site will be secure, and nobody will get a warning about it. Eventually, I'll have lots of posts, lots of pictures, and lots of bells and whistles, or at least, as many bells and whistles as the Blogger platform will allow.
